New York Times:  "...the logic of feeling...the logic of metaphor...unusual imagery."

The Boston Book Review:  "'Sad Dads and Melancholy Babes...the fathers in these stories are carelessly injurious, but they are also injured.  Sharp, compassionate, witty observer of the ordinary heartbreakingly inadequate struggle to preserve attachments in the face of change."

Small Press: "Nervous Dancer will douse you with a cold summer shower of unconscious workings, clear in its droplets, yet black as hell in its depth.  Care for a dip?"

Atlanta Journal Constitution:  "'...grave dancers in rooms full of broken glass.  A book full of pleasure for the ear and mind and heart."

Georgia Review:  "A very stylized prose..to bring the readers deep in the consciousness of the main character."

Publisher's Weekly:  "..the ephemerality of troubling dreams... well wrought miniatures."
