Monday Night Worskhop: Advanced                                                                     

 July 9 th -  Sept. 11th, 2018 (Labor Day Week Off)

7:00 p.m.– 9:30 p.m. 

10 Weeks - Fee: $220.

Material in hand. Short story, novel in progress.

Submissions: One Chapter, Whole or Part of Short Story, or pieces looking for connection and content coming together.

Draft Form/Revisions/into Finals

Notes on manuscripts, weekly.

Class Readings and Discussions scheduled.

Tuesday A.M. Workshop – Multi-Levels – Advanced and Beginners in Good Company

 July 10th - Sept. 18th, 2018  (Labor Day Week Off)

10:00 a.m. –  12:30 p.m. 

10 Weeks - $220.

Finding strongest material, developing, revising. The spontaneity of reading, listening, the give and take of changing thoughts in discussion. 1st Roughs, get it on paper, into Draft Forms, into Revisions toward professional submission quality.

Give a gift to yourself:  An Original Short Story, Novel, Memoir - Your own work: find it, revise and polish.

Continuing News:  Along with the fine work in classes, short stories being accepted in Literary Journals - we all celebrate the publication of the novels of:  Alexandra Curry's "The Courtesan", Debra Bowling's "The Memory of Flight", Libby Ware's "Lum", Maryann Hopper's collected stories.   Trudy Nan Boyce's  novel:  "Out Of The Blues", plus her second in a series of 3 featuring Detective Salt.   Charlene Ball's novel "The Dark Lady".  Short Stories in Literary Journals: Connie Malko -  3 this quarter, Susannah Wilson, continuing publications of short stories. Trudy Boyce's  3rd, "The Policeman's Daughter" published Feb. 27th.

Moral:  Read, read, read, write, write, write, revise, revise -  the literary nourishment of spirit.
